Hello again, my friends. I have finally received a Word that tells me I must go on with this teaching. It is so deadly and is infiltrating the mainline Protestant churches that it has to be exposed.
First of all, I am going to put some links here so you can read for yourself what is going on.
I can’t copy out of the books, but you can read and print out for yourself the material here. Then you can read it and understand a lot more than I can say.

The point of this is what Oprah teaches in her church: We are God.
I would like for you to read II Thessalonians 2. In verse 3, it says, "Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first; and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction…"
It refers to the day of the Lord. While the Holy Spirit is in this world, the "man of lawlessness" can’t fully work his evil. In verses 6-12 exposes the truth of how this is related to this Emerging Church. In a paraphrase of mine, it says that the evil one is restrained. It indicates that the Holy Spirit is the one restraining him. This evil one (Satan) won’t be able to fully reveal himself until the One who restrains is taken out of the way. But, it says that this "mystery of lawlessness" is already at work.
Now, in verse 11 of Chapter 2, we read: "And for this reason, God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false…."
This deluding influence is this Emerging Church and its doctrines. By doing the "completative meditations (little prayers), a person will shut down his mind and open his soul so that the evil powers can come in. The purpose of this is supposed to be so that the person doing it will achieve his "highest power". I would guess that there are many people who have gained great riches, great power, and all that they thought they wanted through this giving over to Satan the power to control him.
Satan’s lie has not changed. In the Garden (Genesis) the Serpent told Eve that if she and Adam ate the apple, their eyes would be open and they would be like God. In Jesus’ time, Satan tempted Jesus by telling Him that if He would bow down and worship the devil, He would receive all the kingdoms of the world. Satan offers people a lot of tempting things. Today, he is still using the same old lie. Fall down and worship the devil and you will receive all the things you desire.
Satan can’t have those whose life is hidden with Christ Jesus — unless that person gives the power to Satan to have him. Once you start letting evil into your soul, you do away with the grace that God gives us to be clean in our inner parts and be a growing spiritual person.
This teaching is so simplistic on the surface. Those who read Rick Warren’s plan find it so positive and good. On the surface, it sounds that way. Satan is not going to say, "Now this is my plan. I have a better plan than God. Do it my (Satan’s) way. No, of course not. Satan can appear as an angel of light. He worms his way in on what sounds good.
People who have been practicing this meditation and have become good at it tell that when they are in this trance, they see swirling lights. They also feel tingly and other things. Satan– an angel of light?? Folks, this is dangerous.
Now, quit being bottle fed. Go to the links and read for yourself. Be sure to read II Thessalonians 2, and if you need to, read it from a commentary like Matthew Henry’s. It is because most so called Christians today don’t want to do the work – study to show yourself approved, a workman who needs not to be ashamed" that we have such weak Christians who can be so easily led astray.
We live in an age when our grown children don’t want to work for what they get. (This is a generalization), they want a house as good as what we worked all our lives to get. They want two cars and the best in education for their children. And, there is nothing wrong with this if they can afford to pay for it. But so often, they depend on mom and dad’s retirememt money to help them. This is the way it often is in growing spiritually.
Our kids sometimes think that they can "borrow" the spirituality of their parents. The don’t seem to realize that the parents have spent a lifetime learning, reading and studying, praying and listening to the Holy Spirit to lead them. This is the work we must do in order to grow as a spiritually mature person. But, today, that way seems too hard for the younger set. Not all of them are this way, but a lot of them are.
So, someone comes along with an easier plan, one that seems better than having to work and grow slowly all their lives. And so, they pick up on it. If this meditation will give them the power and riches they want, they will try it. Unless this lie is exposed, they will be led astray. And I, for one, will not sit idly by and watch this happen.
